![]() ![]() This is a sweet, simple craft that I really enjoyed designing. ![]() Here is a look at all the parts you’ll receive in this Valentine Heart Box download: This heart would be perfect for creating a large makeshift Valentine envelope. I used to love making Valentin’s Day envelopes to collect Valentine cards in grade school. You can use this heart for window decor or print it on cards or t-shirts. In addition to holding sweet treats, these Valentine Heart boxes can also be hung as a romantic Valentine’s day decoration-I’ve incorporated decorative holes into the clasp of the boxes so you can loop string through them for hanging.Īdditionally in your download you’ll also find a flat art version of the floral heart. But of course, both are scalable to any size you need. the small box is about 4.5″ wide and the large box is 6.5″ wide. If you’re going to use that cutting machine, why not make that blade work for you□ There are two box sizes in this download. This is a standard heart box template you can find online but I’ve added an intricate floral pattern to give it my own spin. This difference in size is given by Extra Offset for Caps. Here’s a Valentine Heart Box I designed for the holiday of love. The one on the inside is slightly smaller, to compensate for the sturdiness of the paper or cardstock. The one on the outside is slightly larger than the given diameter in order to neatly cover the base and the lid. The caps form two layers, one on the inside and one on the outside, with the glue flaps sandwiched between them. The base and the lid each consist of a tube and two caps. The template consists of six parts: three for the base and three for the lid. For ease of use, Clearance is set as a percentage. By default, the cover is 3% larger then the tray but this can be adjusted using the Clearance. This design consists of a base tray and a lid. (Think of the shape as the ”Body Mass Index” of the heart). The Width is calculated by the program to match the rotation ( Tilt) and Shape of the ellipse. ![]() The Length measures between the two sharp corners of the heart. The measurements are different to standard boxes because of the way the heart is modeled: It is made from an ellipse, which is rotated, cut in half vertically and then mirrored. Many different heart-shapes are possible! This is the kind of box you need when it's Valentine's day and you need to pack 13 hand made chocolate pralines. ![]()
